Life Update!

I had my OBGYN appointment on April 13. This appointment was to see what our next steps where in trying to conseve. After talking with the Dr, she suggested I lose more weight before we go any further.
She wants me to lose another 10-20lbs to be at a healthy weight, and it will hopefully cause my body to have a period naturally. She had me make an appointment with the nurse practitioner to go over a nutrition plan to help me further my weight loss.
So after talking to the Nurse Practitioner, who works with pregnant women who have Diabetes, and helps with their nutrition. She also used to teach a nutrition class to anyone who was dignoised with Diabetes.
After going over my current nutrition, she wants me to stick with my current plan of 2252 calories daily, but she also wants me to start looking at consuming 35-45g per meal and 10-15g per snack of carbohydrates daily.
She also wants me to eat smaller meals through the day. And along with my current plan of nutrition, No Dairy, Gluten, Soy or Meat she wants me to look in to an Anti-inflammatory diet. I will do a separate blog post about it.
I am also in the process of making an appointment with a program called Lifefit that will help with exercising and will hold me accountable for my nutrition and exercise. Dr. T my OBGYN is hoping I lose the weight by mid summer and start Clomid to help with ovulation. I am also still going weekly to the acupuncturist.

  1. I hope it all works out. I'm also trying to loose weight. I'm eating low carb and exercising 5 days a week. It's ridiculous how hard it is to loose weight with pcos
