Life Update # 2
I want to start out by apologizing for not posting on here for a while! I have some fun things planned for July so I will be on here more often. Also I know this is my infertility journey, but for now I will be talking more about weight loss, as it is apart of the infertility journey. Now on to the post💚
As I sit here on this last day of June, I look back and reflect on how in just one month my life style has changed dramatically! All for the better though I've become a happier more motavated person in just 30 day!
First of all I'm very proud of the fact that I've worked out 30 days in a row! I've never worked out for that long, I usually go gung ho for the first week, then just stop. Not this month I have gone all 30 days! Please head over to my Allie'sweightlossjourney Instagram account. I posted an after workout selfie each day along with some other content. I have been fallowing The Fit Cyster Challenge by The PCOS Nurse on thepcosnurse.com go check out the site she has everything from exersise to nutrition.
Second big life style change is I've gotten myself it to a routine and I love it I feel more energized and motavated throughout the day, and I find I'm not as hungry throughout the day. My day generally consists of waking up, working out, eating breakfast, then a snack, then lunch, then a snack, then dinner and sometimes a snack. I've also been drinking more water throughout the day and have set a daily goal for my water intake. There will be a blog post about my daily routine coming soon!
As far as the infertility journey goes, right now we are focusing on the weight loss, to get my body to hopefully state ovulating and menstruating naturally. If this does not work she will then put me on Clomid. To help with the weightloss I have been taking Phentermine witch is a weight loss pill, that suppresses your appetite. It has been working wonders. I had gained some weight back and was at 390 lbs in the begining of June and after only a week on the pill I had lost about a pound. As of today I'm down to 379 lbs so I will continue to take Phentermine as long as needed, but will stop using it if I happen to get pregnant in the process or when I have lost the amout of weight my OBGYN wants me lose.
I also still see the Acupuncturist weekly and take the supplements she suggests. I will say between the weight loss, and what the OBGYN and the Acupuncturist are doing I have had my period 3-4 times since January it's still not as consistant as we would like it but thats more then I've had in years. Who knows if it's the Acupuncture or the weightloss or a combo of all of it, but I will continue with everything as long as necessary.
Those are all the life updates I have for you for now! Keep an eye out on this blog, my facebook page, Instagram, and You-Tube for new content this month!
